An Elegant Sofa with a Functional Design

This sofa incorporates the zabuton cushion,
a familiar furnishing in the Japanese home,
and the "kamishimo", the triangular-shaped "shoulder guards"
worn over the traditional garments of the samurai warrior class.
Wide and with a low seating surface, thin with a slight curved back,
it gently cocoons the body with support.
